Chen Bensong, Supermarket Manager, said, "Our daily consumer volume stands at around 60-thousand. Sales of clothing, healthcare products and alcohol have doubled."
The government's moves to extend its pro-consumption measures have fueled the craze. People are standing in long queues to buy home appliances.
Wu Chaokun, Supermarket Manager, said, "It's really hot this year. The macro-economic recovery has greatly boosted our businesses. Sales of TV sets, washing machines and computers have all increased 200 percent from a year earlier."
